For the past six weeks, I have been totally engulfed in trying to loose weight. I’ve been exercising six times a week using a program called Turbofire by Beachbody. I’m in love with this program! It’s defiantly a more dance type of workout, which makes it really fun. But it’s also a challenging program. I’m literally drenched in sweat with each workout (and some of them are only fifteen minutes). The program is twelve weeks long and it comes with a calendar that tells you which workout/dvd to do each day. I love how it takes the guesswork out of exercising. I’m also trying to maintain a healthy diet but I’m not going crazy. I’ve replaced one meal a day with Shakeology and I absolutely adore my shakes! I seriously crave them each and every day.
My Crohn’s disease has been in great shape (knocks on wood). If anything, my stomach issues have improved even a little more. I’m pretty sure the Shakeology has something to do with it. The shakes contain digestive enzymes and are full of nutrients and vitamins. I’m thankful that my disease is finally at a good place. Happy intestines = happy me.
In the next few weeks, I hope to post a few other posts that have really been on my heart. I’ve really learned a lot about my body and myself since starting Turbofire. It really has opened my eyes to a new way of looking at food and exercise. I’ve also learned that I’m strong and can be dedicated to a exercise program.
